Richie Count's real last name was Goodman, if I recall correctly. "Count" was a reference to the man's similarity in both appearance and demeanor to Count Dracula. Not a good man, despite his real surname.
He was taken out of Paramus, and given the keys to Totowa. I was too young to assess his performance there, but in my view, he ruined the store.

I worked in the east Brunswick store for a few years in the early 80's. Matter of fact I was there for the opening. I trained at union and paramus. Such a long time ago.
